Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held across three global cities in June:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29 - June 1
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6 - June 8
• Paris, France: June 13 - June 15

Further details will be released in March, but expect more rare Pokémon encounters, exclusive items, gameplay bonuses, and unique in-person experiences similar to previous years. Remember, event details are subject to change.

In-person attendees can look forward to exclusive merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges. Past events have featured rare Pokémon like Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow.

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January

Beyond the Fest, Niantic announced two additional events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over (January 15-19, 2025, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm local time):

• Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
• Debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai (hatching from 12km Eggs).
• Appearances of Shadow Snivy, Tepig, and more.
• Snapshot encounters with a fashionably dressed Croagunk.

Shadow Raid Day (January 19, 2025, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm local time):

• Five-Star Shadow Raids featuring Shadow Ho-Oh.
• $5 USD ticket includes eight Raid Passes, increased chances for Rare Candy XL, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids.
• Increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate.
• Possibility to teach Ho-Oh its signature move, Sacred Fire (using a Charged TM).
