Sonic Trilogy Gets Pre-Movie Updates

Get ready for a triple dose of Sonic! Sega is celebrating the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with exciting updates across its mobile game lineup. Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all getting movie-inspired content.

First up, on December 12th, Sonic Forces gets a brand-new Metro-city Zone! This update features three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other classic characters. Complete these levels before seeing the movie for an extra layer of enjoyment.

Next, Sonic Dream Team (Apple Arcade) receives its update on December 18th, adding Movie Shadow as a playable character with brand-new abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift, allowing manipulation of time and the environment. Unlock him via Tails’ Challenges. The update also includes new powers (Quick Grind and Perfect Boost) for all characters, exclusive upgrades for Shadow (including Double Chaos Shift), six Shadow-themed statues, new music tracks, and a revamped tutorial.

Lastly, Sonic Dash gets its update on December 20th, letting players collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer additional rewards. Sonic Dash+(Apple Arcade) will follow in January with its own Shadow-themed content.
