Alphabet - Alphabet for Children from 3 to 5 Years Old and Toddlers in Russian. Learning Letters and Sounds
Talking Alphabet for Children and Toddlers is a delightful educational game crafted with care, just as I created for my own daughter. Designed to engage young learners, this app offers various learning modes, including letters, sounds, vowels, and consonants, as well as distinctions between voiced and unvoiced sounds. The app features vibrant illustrations, an intuitive interface, and professional voiceovers by a Russian language teacher!
Understanding the alphabet is crucial for young children as it lays the foundation for reading and language skills. Our app provides dual voiceover options: one for sounds and another for letters, all in Russian.
Suitable for both children and toddlers, the ideal age to start learning the alphabet is between 4 to 6 years old. However, gifted children can begin as early as 3, with the optimal age being around 5, just before they start school.
It's recommended to begin with vowels: A, O, U, Y, I, E, Yo, E, Yu, Ya (10 in total). These are easier for young children to pronounce and learn. Initially, there are 6 vowel sounds: A, O, U, Y, I, E, followed by 4 vowel letters formed by combining two sounds: E = Y + O; E = Y + E; Yu = Y + U; Ya = Y + A. Vowels can also be categorized as stressed or unstressed.
Following vowels, children can learn consonants: B, V, G, D, ZH, Z, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, F, X, Ts, Ch, Sh, Shch (21 in total), along with 2 auxiliary letters Ъ and Ь. The Russian alphabet comprises 33 letters in total.
This educational game is completely free and designed to help your child master sounds and letters efficiently. If your child enjoys the game, please leave a review – it's the best way to show your appreciation. Thank you, and wishing your family joy and happiness!
