Avoid unexpected downpours with the Buienradar app! This comprehensive weather app features a rain radar and graph, providing detailed forecasts to keep you dry.

The app's core functionality centers around a 3-hour and 24-hour rain radar. The radar visually displays impending rainfall, while the accompanying rain graph shows precise timing and predicted rainfall amounts (in millimeters). Zoom in for hyperlocal detail using the magnifying glass icon.

Available for Android phones and tablets, Buienradar also offers a convenient widget displaying the rain graph for quick checks without opening the app. A Wear OS app is also available, showing the radar, graph, and hourly forecast, with more features planned. (Note: The Wear OS app is Android Wear OS only and available on the Google Play Store.)

Beyond rain, Buienradar provides various other radar and map views, including: drizzle, sun, NL satellite images, storms, pollen (hay fever), UV sun index, mosquitos, BBQ suitability, temperature, wind chill, wind, fog, snow, EU Buienradar, and EU satellite images.

Personalized weather information is available in the "Next 8 hours weather prediction" section for your preferred location (even internationally!), providing hourly predictions for temperature, wind chill, rainfall (mm/hour), rain chance, and wind force (Beaufort). Additional data includes wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, humidity, and sunrise/sunset times.

Seasonal radar maps cater to specific needs: pollen and mosquito radars during summer, and snow and ground temperature radars during winter.

A 14-day forecast is accessible via the "14-day forecast" tab, offering both graphical and detailed list views (hourly for the first 7 days, daily averages for the following week).

Customize rain alerts (free push notifications) based on your schedule and locations via the "Notifications" tab.
