Durak features two main variations: "Flip Fool" (Durak podkidnoy) and "Transferable Fool" (Durak Perevodnoy). While sharing similarities, each offers unique gameplay.

The objective? Quickly discard all your cards. The last player holding cards is declared the "Fool" (Durak).

Flip Fool is the classic version. When the attacker runs out of cards to play, the player to the defender's left throws a single card. Play then alternates clockwise.

Transferable Fool adds a strategic layer. From the second round, the defender can "transfer" a discarded card by placing a same-rank card of a different suit. This shifts the attack to the next player clockwise. However, the first hand cannot be transferred. To cover instead of transferring a trump card of the same rank, drag your card onto the card to be covered.
