Using the App and Scanner Together

The FreeStyle Libre 2 system allows for signal transmission either to the scanner or your phone, but not both simultaneously. To receive alerts on your phone, initiate the sensor via the app. To receive alerts on the scanner, initiate the sensor using the scanner. Note that a sensor launched with the scanner can still be scanned with the phone.

The app and scanner don't communicate directly. For complete data, scan your sensor with your chosen device every 8 hours; otherwise, reports will be incomplete. LibreView.com provides a central location to view data from all your devices.
