Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom: A Charming Puzzle Adventure Coming to Mobile
Get ready for a whimsical puzzle adventure! Shatterproof Games' Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom is launching on mobile devices on January 25th, 2025 – just seven months after its Steam debut. Pre-registration is now open on Android.
Embark on a captivating journey as Aarik, an endearing young prince tasked with restoring his shattered kingdom. His father is magically asleep, and it's up to Aarik to solve the kingdom's problems using his wits and a magical crown.
This isn't your typical sword-swinging adventure. Aarik's primary weapon is his intellect. Players must manipulate perspectives, repair broken pathways, restore ancient ruins, and prevent the kingdom from collapsing entirely.
With over 90 puzzles across 35 levels, Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom offers a unique challenge. Each puzzle demands clever perspective shifting, requiring you to rotate, drag, and twist the environment to align elements correctly. Aarik's crown evolves throughout the game, gaining abilities like time reversal and revealing hidden paths. Helpful creatures will also lend assistance along the way.
Reminiscent of Monument Valley
The game's vibrant and varied landscapes—from mystical forests and frozen tundras to eerie swamps—resemble the enchanting style of Monument Valley. The overall aesthetic exudes a relaxing, storybook charm, reminiscent of a classic fairy tale.
Pre-register on the Google Play Store today! The full game will be available for $2.99 upon release, but the first eight levels are free to play.
