Abyssal Corruption Challenge Unveiled in Genshin Impact

In Genshin Impact, completing the "Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist" quest automatically triggers the "Adventure in the Land of Mists" quest. This quest continues the journey with Bona to locate the Altar of Primal Flame.

Bona guides the Traveler to the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams fortress in Ochkanatlan's northwest. Here, players must defeat Tenebrous Mimiflora before activating a mechanism to finish the "Adventure in the Land of Mists" quest, which then unlocks the "Palace of the Vision Serpent" quest. This next quest requires purifying the Abyssal Blight within the Core of Chu'ulel.

How to Purify the Abyssal Blight in the Core of Chu'ulel

To cleanse the Abyssal Corruption, follow these steps:

1. Retrieve the Radiant Fragment from the platform.
2. Place it on the nearby Radiant Pillar to dispel the Abyssal Blight.
3. Defeat the resulting enemy.
4. Proceed to the northern part of the Core of Chu'ulel: Interior.

Next:

1. Obtain the Radiant Fragment near the broken bridge.
2. Place it on the adjacent Radiant Pillar.
3. Descend through the floor opening.
4. Find the Rust-Spotted Key in the library (near a jar).
5. Activate the elevator mechanism.
6. Ascend using the elevator.
7. Retrieve the previously placed Radiant Fragment.
8. Place it on the southwestern Radiant Pillar.
9. Head east.

Continue:

1. Use the Rust-Spotted Key to activate the mechanism and remove the seal.
2. Collect the two Radiant Fragments behind the unsealed wall.
3. Place them on the northwestern Radiant Pillar to activate the elevator.
4. Gather the Pyroculus.
5. Activate the elevator to descend.
6. Collect the two Radiant Fragments (one from the elevator, one from a nearby pillar).
7. Open the door using the adjacent mechanism.

1. Go southeast.
2. Place the final two Radiant Fragments.

This clears the Abyssal Blight, dropping the Chu'ulel Light Core. To continue the "Palace of the Vision Serpent" quest:

1. Protect the Light Core from enemies.
2. Return to Bona at the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams fortress.
3. Speak with Bona.

Quest completion rewards players with 50 Primogems, A Nameless Adventurer’s Notes, a Pyrophosphorite, and a Luxurious chest.
