AFK Journey is a free-to-play RPG with regular seasonal content updates. New seasons introduce maps, storylines, and heroes. The new season, "Chains of Eternity," is launching soon.

Chains of Eternity Season Release Date

Globally, the Chains of Eternity season arrives in AFK Journey on January 17th.

Other regions/servers will receive the update if their server is at least 35 days old and players meet these conditions:

• Reach Resonance Level 240.
• Complete all pre-season AFK stages.

Meeting these requirements and having a server older than 35 days ensures access to the new season on the official release date.

What's New in Chains of Eternity?

Chains of Eternity brings a new map, story, heroes, and bosses to AFK Journey:

• Lorsan (Wilder)
• Elijah and Lailah (Celestial)
• Illucia (Dream Realm boss)

This season also introduces changes: a daily AFK progress cap, Paragon level adjustments, and Exclusive Equipment enhancements. Paragon levels become significantly more impactful, and upgrading Exclusive Equipment from +15 to +20 receives a substantial boost. This means investing in Supreme+ units yields greater returns, but the investment cost increases significantly beyond +15.
