This seemingly small detail represents a substantial move by Epic to expand its mobile presence. Telefónica's global reach, encompassing numerous brands and countries, ensures widespread EGS availability.

The EGS will now compete directly with Google Play as a default app store option. This strategic maneuver could prove pivotal given Epic's aggressive pursuit of market dominance.
