Blasphemous, the critically acclaimed 2D platformer drawing inspiration from religious iconography and Spanish folklore, is now available on Android! This release includes all DLC, gamepad support, and a completely redesigned user interface optimized for mobile. An iOS release is planned for late February 2025.
The game plunges players into the grim gothic world of Cvstodia, where they assume the role of The Penitent One. This armored warrior embarks on a challenging quest to lift a malevolent curse known as The Miracle. Combat is brutal and unforgiving, pitting players against grotesque creatures born from a twisted blend of religious imagery and Spanish mythology. Prepare for numerous deaths along the way!
Blasphemous' mobile version features a revamped UI and intuitive touch controls, while also offering Bluetooth gamepad compatibility for those who prefer a more traditional control scheme. All DLC is included.
While iOS users will need to wait until late February 2025, the overwhelmingly positive reception from players and critics alike suggests the wait will be worthwhile. Mobile platformers can be tricky due to touchscreen limitations, but Blasphemous aims to overcome this with its refined controls.
