Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game, Botany Manor, have been rescheduled for a January 28th, 2025 launch. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, aims to ensure a polished and optimal player experience.
Developed by Balloon Studios, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game, a relaxing puzzler centered around cultivating magical plants in the English countryside, garnered widespread praise, boasting an impressive 83/100 average score and 92% positive reviews on OpenCritic.
While the new release date is confirmed, a PlayStation Store page remains absent, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, mirroring its price on other platforms, and will remain free of microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be offered.
Botany Manor's arrival will significantly enhance the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its charming aesthetic, ingenious puzzles, and rewarding exploration have already established it as a standout title in the genre. The January 28th launch will mark the completion of Botany Manor's initial cross-platform rollout. Balloon Studios has yet to announce its next project. Other notable PS Store releases scheduled for January 28th include Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
