A Call of Duty: Warzone player has discovered a glitch allowing Modern Warfare 3 camos to be applied to Black Ops 6 weapons—a feature many players believe should be standard. While Modern Warfare 3 weapons remain accessible in Warzone, many meta weapons originate from Black Ops 6, rendering previously earned camos unusable.
Like previous Call of Duty titles, players grind Black Ops 6 for mastery camos. Unlike weapon blueprints, these are earned through in-game challenges, culminating in Dark Matter after achieving gold, diamond, and dark spine camos on numerous weapons. However, Modern Warfare 3 mastery camos become largely irrelevant in Warzone after Black Ops 6's release. This glitch offers a potential solution.
Call of Duty: Warzone Player Discovers New Camo Glitch
A method to equip Modern Warfare 3 camos on Black Ops 6 weapons in Warzone has emerged. This unofficial method, shared by Twitter user BSPGamin (via Dexerto), is likely to be patched.
The process requires a friend. Begin a private Warzone match, equipping a Black Ops 6 weapon in your first loadout slot. Join a friend's lobby. Then, equip a Modern Warfare 3 weapon and repeatedly select the desired camo while the host switches to a private match. The friend then leaves, the player repeats the camo selection while the friend rejoins a private match. The camo should then be available on the Black Ops 6 weapon.
For players preferring to use Black Ops 6 camos but struggling to unlock mastery camos, Treyarch confirmed a new in-game challenge tracking feature is coming. This feature, present in Modern Warfare 3, was absent from Black Ops 6 but will return in a future update.
