Defend your castle against would-be heroes
Live the life of villainy across the new roguelite mode
Decorate your very own evil lair
Grumpyface Studios has officially launched Castle Doombad: Free to Slay on iOS and Android, and as you can probably tell from the awesome title alone, it's all about defending your castle of baddies against pesky heroes threatening your version of peace. In an interesting twist, you take on the role of the big baddie this time around, because why can't would-be heroes just leave you alone with your nefarious villainy?
In Castle Doombad, you'll need to set up traps as the evil Dr. Lord Evilstein, with more than 70 campaign stages you'll need to keep safe from invading knights in shining armour. Unlock over 30 traps and unleash them on unwitting heroes, then upgrade your equipment to make sure they never disturb your life of evildoer-y.
Of course, every bad guy needs an evil lair, and you can deck yours out with cool cosmetics called "spoils" - essentially evil artifacts and lots of "misplaced" loot. And in case you'd like to switch things up a bit, the rougelite mode “Dr. Lord Evilstein’s Roguevenge” will have you fending off heroes across randomly generated layouts as the ultimate criminal mastermind.
