Supercell's Clash of Clans may be over a decade old, but it's not short of new content
Town Hall 17 brings a new ultra-powerful unit, hero, structures and more
Use the Hero Hall to manage your heroes directly, and unleash the new Inferno Artillery on your foes
It's hard to think of a time when Clash of Clans wasn't one of the biggest things on mobile. Supercell's social strategy game proved to be a major hit that heralded a new age of dominance on mobile, so it's little surprise that even so many years down the line it's still getting updates. And the latest, and perhaps one of the most expansive, is here with Town Hall 17.
Bringing you a new ultimate mega-weapon called the Inferno Artillery, Town Hall 17 introduces the ability to merge your Town Hall and Eagle Artillery to form this new, powerful unit. Not only that but a brand new character joins the lineup with the Minion Prince, whom you may recognise from the Hammerless "true crime" ARG that ran on Supercell's socials recently.
In addition, you'll also be able to use the new Hero Hall to directly upgrade and assign your heroes, including a new 3D viewing gallery to check out their latest skins. That's on top of a whole host of miscellaneous features and the addition of The Helper Hut, which finally gives The Builder's Apprentice their own dedicated structure.
Artillery's awakeningClash of Clans, although it's been superseded by many new releases in Supercell's portfolio, still remains one of the developer's most iconic titles. And rightfully so, given all the care and attention it's received over the years, it's managed to just about keep pace with the times despite launching more than a decade ago in 2012.
And if you need a quick reminder of how best to equip your heroes in the new Hero Hall, be sure to check out some of our detailed guides. Our ranking of the best Hero equipment ensures you'll never be at a loss for how to outfit the best soldiers in your ranks!
