Deadpool’s Diner event returns until December 3rd
Take part in numerous challenges, betting Bubs at each table
Unlock exclusive rewards for completing higher stakes tables
It’s been quite hot in Marvel Snap, given that Surtur and his crew from Muspelheim joined the card battler to turn up the heat. The latest update, which released a few weeks ago brought about a wave of new content, including new characters, and locations. With that, the return of a beloved event was announced too, which is now finally live.
That’s right. Deadpool’s Diner is back in Marvel Snap and it’s here until December 3rd. If you haven’t tried it before, this mode lets you take on a series of escalating challenges, betting your stash of Bubs to move up the ranks.
When you win at a table, you’ll proceed to a higher one with even bigger steaks (get it?). Success at the top tier rewards you with King Eitri and an exclusive Jane Foster variant by Andrea Guardino. Since this mode operates outside traditional ladder matches, it’s a low-pressure way to experiment and enjoy some quirky mechanics.
Besides that, of course, the update also introduced Surtur, a fire giant and harbinger of Ragnarok. Surtur’s card arrives in Marvel Snap with a potent ability: when you play a card with 10 or more Power, he gains +3 Power. Expect some explosive action if you build a deck around leveraging this skill. But Surtur isn’t conquering the Nine Realms alone; he’s joined by a roster of new Series 5 characters, including Frigga, Malekith, Fenris Wolf, and Gorr the God Butcher. The dwarven king Eitri will also join the ranks in December as a Series 4 card. See how these cards perform against others by checking out our Marvel Snap tier list!
New cards aren’t the sole addition, however. Two new locations, Valhalla and Yggdrasil, maintain the Norse theme. Valhalla repeats On Reveal abilities after turn 4, while Yggdrasil enhances all cards at a different location by +1 Power after each turn.
