How to Become Godzilla in Fortnite

Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will appear randomly on the Battle Royale island in Fortnite Chapter 6. Be the first player to find and enter this rift, and you'll emerge as Godzilla himself! It's all about luck and quick reflexes.

As Godzilla, you'll command three devastating abilities: a Roar to locate nearby players, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and a powerful Heat Ray to inflict serious damage. Get ready for the ultimate power trip…but be warned, the entire lobby will be hunting you.

How to Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite

If you weren't lucky enough to become Godzilla, you'll have the chance to take him down! Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Hitting these weak points will cause Godzilla Fragments to drop, granting you 40 health and three dash charges – crucial for mobility in this intense battle.

The Rail Gun has been unvaulted for this event, providing a powerful weapon to inflict significant damage quickly. High-rarity weapons will also be effective. Focus your firepower, as the player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla receives a special reward: the Godzilla Medallion (with its own dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
