Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4: A Console Testing Update from Toby Fox
Undertale creator Toby Fox recently provided an update on the testing phase for Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4. Console testing is progressing smoothly, although much work remains. Fox noted on Bluesky that PS5 testing hasn't even begun yet. Beyond bug fixes, the team is actively working on a crucial feature: save transfer. Players will be able to carry over their saves from the Chapters 1 and 2 demo to the full release of Chapters 3 and 4. This functionality, recently made possible by newly acquired technology, is a key goal. "I hope it works!" Fox stated.
With beta testing showing positive results, a release date may be on the horizon. Fox has previously confirmed a 2025 release window for Chapters 3 and 4.

A New Character Emerges: Tenna
Amidst the development, Fox shared amusing anecdotes. He described a minigame he's working on, jokingly calling it a "cry for help" due to the game's delayed release. This minigame's purpose is currently unclear, but speculation suggests it might be for Chapter 5, given Fox's previous statement that Chapters 3 and 4 are content-complete.
The mention of a character named Tenna has generated significant excitement. First glimpsed during the Spamton Sweepstakes campaign in September 2022, Tenna's inclusion in Chapter 3 is now confirmed by Fox. A friend's comment, "I miss Tenna," prompted Fox's confirmation.
Deltarune, the successor to Undertale, continues to build anticipation. Players will once again join Kris, Susie, and Ralsei on their world-saving adventure.
