Unlike other shellfish, Mussels are found only in specific Storybook Vale biomes. Their spawn locations can be unpredictable, making them difficult to find.

Mussel Hunting Grounds in Mythopia

To harvest Mussels, explore these Mythopia areas:

• The Elysian Fields
• The Fiery Plains
• The Statue's Shadow
• Mount Olympus

While some players report easily finding Mussels in these locations, others experience less success. Spawn rates seem inconsistent, with Mussels appearing more frequently in certain areas. The image below highlights potential spawn points, including near trial areas (like the one near Hades' unlock in the Elysian Fields).

A cluster of Mussels can be found hidden behind a secret bush in the Elysian Fields during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest (as shown above). Uncovering this area may increase Mussel spawns throughout Mythopia.
