Eko Software and NACON have exciting news for RPG fans with the launch of a demo for their action-packed game, *Dragonkin: The Banished*. Available now as part of Steam Next Fest until March 3, 2025, the demo offers a taste of what's to come in the early access version, which will be released on March 6, 2025. The early access will include the prologue and the first chapter, allowing players to dive into the game's rich narrative through the perspectives of three distinct heroes: the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian. Players will also have the company of four Vermplings, cooperative companions that assist in battles, and can explore the innovative Bloodline Grid skill progression system, engage in endgame hunting quests, and experience initial upgrades to the central hub city.
The development team has shared a detailed roadmap for the game's early access journey. Spring updates are set to bring new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improvements to the hub city. As summer rolls in, players can look forward to a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. By autumn, *Dragonkin: The Banished* will introduce multiplayer support, with continuous refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city mechanics.
In *Dragonkin: The Banished*, players will immerse themselves in a world tainted by ancient dragon blood, embarking on a quest as a legendary warrior to defeat sinister creatures and confront the powerful Dragonlords behind the chaos. Progression is driven by character growth, equipment upgrades, and the evolution of Vermplings, with the strategic Bloodline Grid system offering players the ability to tailor their skills to their playstyle.
Following its early access phase, *Dragonkin: The Banished* is slated for a full release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, promising an expansive and engaging RPG experience.
