A new trailer for Freedom Wars Remastered showcases the game's improved gameplay and control systems, offering a fresh look at this dystopian action RPG. Players will once again battle colossal mechanical creatures, upgrade their equipment, and undertake challenging missions in a world ravaged by resource depletion.

This remastered edition boasts significant enhancements. Beyond the visual upgrade, the game features faster-paced action, a refined crafting system, a challenging new difficulty mode, and includes all original customization DLC. Freedom Wars Remastered launches January 10th on PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC.

Originally a PlayStation Vita exclusive, Freedom Wars shares a similar gameplay loop with the Monster Hunter series (following Capcom's move to other platforms). Players take on the role of a "Sinner," sentenced to complete missions for their Panopticon (city-state). These missions involve everything from rescuing civilians and eliminating Abductors (massive mechanical creatures) to securing vital control systems.
