Fortnite is gearing up for a visit from several artists and performers, with the highly anticipated arrival of Vocaloid Hatsune Miku on the horizon. Recent social media interactions have sparked excitement among players.
The official Fortnite Festival account playfully claims possession of Miku's backpack, while Miku's account has launched a humorous search, inquiring if anyone has seen it. Leaks suggest the collaboration will extend beyond a simple skin and virtual concert, including a unique pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant.
The launch is expected on January 14th.
Separately, a reminder about fair play: In late December, professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo was accused of using cheat software, specifically aimbot and wallhacks, to gain an unfair advantage and win thousands of dollars in prize money. Epic Games alleges this gave Araujo an insurmountable lead over other players who adhered to the rules. The lawsuit highlights the significant financial implications of cheating in competitive gaming.
