NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise gift for players: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! This generous offering is included in the base battle pass. The season, running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025, pits the Fantastic Four against Dracula in a New York City showdown.

The Fantastic Four are the stars of this season's character additions. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.

Players can obtain the free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by progressing through the free tiers of the Season 1 battle pass. While the full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), numerous free cosmetic rewards are obtainable through quest completion and Chrono Token acquisition. Peni Parker's skin features a striking sky blue and white design, while Scarlet Witch's crimson and purple attire boasts a cosmic animation. Note that while a free emote is available for Scarlet Witch, the MVP animation requires the premium battle pass. A separate Midnight Features event also offers a free Thor skin.
