New Genshin Bug Wreaks Havoc on Bosses

Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy utilizes the Hydro Traveler, often considered a weak DPS character, to achieve remarkable results.

The exploit's mechanics are surprisingly straightforward. By strategically placing numerous Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) near a boss, and then activating the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst, players witness a significant and sudden reduction in the boss's health.

This dramatic health decrease stems from the Elemental Burst's amplified AoE damage when interacting with objects. Deploying a large number of lanterns – potentially hundreds – can result in damage output reaching millions.
