Recent leaks suggest a significant quality-of-life improvement for Arlecchino in Genshin Impact Version 5.4: a revamped swap animation and a new visual indicator. This popular Pyro DPS character, introduced during the Fontaine arc, will see these changes despite her already complex kit.

Arlecchino, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, has proven a fan favorite. While the current storyline focuses on Natlan and its Archon, Mavuika, HoYoverse appears to be refining some previously released characters.

A leak from Firefly News, shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, showcases the new indicator appearing above Arlecchino's model after a swap. While its exact function remains unconfirmed, the prevailing theory is that it will display her Bond of Life (BoL) levels. This Fontaine-exclusive mechanic, similar to Natlan's Nightsoul system, acts as a reverse shield, depleting the BoL bar instead of increasing HP upon healing.

This QoL change, while not directly boosting Arlecchino's damage, significantly enhances usability, particularly in complex battles requiring simultaneous management of multiple targets and status effects. This isn't Arlecchino's first post-release adjustment, highlighting the ongoing refinement of her intricate gameplay.

Her multiple adjustments likely stem from the complexity of her character kit. Despite this, she remains a top Pyro DPS choice and a community favorite. The timing of this update is noteworthy, coinciding with her upcoming appearance on a Version 5.3 Limited Character Banner (around January 22nd), alongside Clorinde, the Champion Duelist.
