As the Natlan Archon Quest in Genshin Impact nears its conclusion, the game continues to unravel its rich lore and intensify its combat challenges. Every region in Genshin Impact introduces two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire stands out as a formidable adversary, perhaps even more so than its counterparts.

This colossal dragon, wielding dual swords, embodies the ancient ruler of Natlan, and its fearsome appearance, enhanced by Gosoythoth, underscores its menacing nature. The influence of the Abyss is evident in this boss, reminiscent of the Corrosion mechanics seen with Inazuma's Riftwolves. While the battle is challenging, it's certainly not insurmountable. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to conquer the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Genshin Impact.

Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire resides within the Stone Stele Records domain, located just south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. This domain is housed within a shrine commemorating those lost in the Natlan battle. Upon entering the domain, players can claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly boss encounters.

To unlock this boss and access the domain freely, players must complete the final chapter of the Archon Quest: When All Becomes A Monument. Alternatively, players can bypass the story completion and enter the domain via the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer’s Handbook.

How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Successfully defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire largely depends on utilizing characters from Natlan, such as Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, Mualani, and others. The dragon remains relatively stationary for much of the fight but will eventually summon three Pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora, which are more easily defeated with characters wielding Nightsoul Blessings.

Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing

While it's possible to destroy the summoned Pillars with other characters, doing so will be significantly slower. Using Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina will expedite the process, allowing you to quickly neutralize the Eroded Meteor strike that the dragon unleashes. Destroying the pillars will immobilize the dragon for about 10 seconds, providing a crucial window to deal damage before it recovers.

However, if the pillars aren't destroyed quickly enough, the meteor animation will commence. At this point, ensure you're equipped with a shield and switch to a healer. Continuous healing is essential to survive the corrosion status effect, which can penetrate shields and deal significant damage. Even at full HP, an unshielded player risks being one-shot.

Consistent healers like Furina and Kokomi are ideal for this fight, though Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett are also effective alternatives.

Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon

Dodging the dragon's unpredictable attacks can be challenging. At times, it transforms into smoke, making its movements erratic and difficult to track. Its primary attacks include sword slashes and smashes that alter the battlefield, reducing the space available for dodging.

If the dragon significantly alters the battlefield, staying close to it and attacking from underneath can be effective, though caution is still necessary due to its Eroded Dragon Breath attack, which inflicts Pyro and Erosion damage. Staying close to the dragon's hands can provide a safe spot during this attack, as the breath doesn't reach there. Additionally, be prepared to heal immediately after being hit by sword slashes to counteract the Erosion effect.

A healer is indispensable for this battle, so choose one wisely to ensure your survival.

Co-Op Mode and Matching

Whether you have Natlan characters or not, engaging in Co-Op Mode can be beneficial, especially during the Pillar phase. Simply click the 'Match' button upon entering the Domain to join another player's world, making the fight more manageable with additional support.

Fortunately, this battle does not feature multiple phases, unlike some other Weekly Bosses, but it still requires a substantial amount of time and strategy to overcome.
