Path of Exile 2 boasts a wealth of quests, some less obvious than others. This guide focuses on the five Golden Idols hidden throughout Act 3, which, despite being labeled "Quest Items," don't appear in your quest log. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't turned in for progression; instead, they're valuable sellable items.

How to Find the Golden Idols

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment in Act 3 and traveling through a time portal, you'll arrive in Utzaal, the once-magnificent Vaal city (now known as The Drowned City). Within Utzaal and the connected area of Aggorat, you'll discover these idols. They're not dropped by enemies; instead, they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

Utzaal:

• Glorious Idol
• Golden Idol
• Grand Idol

Aggorat:

• Exceptional Idol
• Elegant Idol

Cashing In Your Idols

Once you've collected a Golden Idol, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and speak to Oswald, located in the northern part of the area. He'll buy your idols for a substantial sum:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Collecting all five will net you 6000 Gold. Since these idols only serve as valuable trade goods, consider selling them immediately to free up inventory space.
