The Six Invitational 2025 format remains unchanged from 2024, but let's break it down for those who might find it a bit complex. The tournament consists of two phases: the group stage and the double elimination playoff.

In the group stage, teams are divided into four groups and compete in a round-robin format. Each match is crucial, not just for survival, but also for securing a better seeding in the playoffs.

The top four teams from the group stage advance directly to the upper bracket of the playoffs, skipping one round and securing at least a 9th to 12th place finish. Teams finishing second and third in their groups also enter the upper bracket but start at the first round, with the advantage of losing one match without being eliminated. Fourth-placed teams start in the lower bracket, facing a must-win situation in every match. Teams that finish fifth are eliminated.
