Should you summon Makiatto in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium? The answer is largely yes, but with some important qualifications.
Why Makiatto is a Top Choice:
Makiatto remains a top-tier single-target DPS unit, even in the established Chinese server. Her exceptional damage output makes her a valuable asset. However, she shines best with manual control, as her effectiveness diminishes in auto-battle scenarios. Her Freeze ability synergizes perfectly with Suomi, a leading support character, creating a potent Freeze team composition. Even outside of a dedicated Freeze team, her raw damage makes her a strong addition to any roster needing a second DPS.
Reasons to Consider Passing:
If you’ve already secured a powerful early-game team, Makiatto might be less crucial. Specifically, if your account boasts Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo, adding Makiatto may not provide a substantial upgrade. While Tololo's late-game DPS might decrease, potential future buffs in the CN version could significantly alter her ranking. With Qiongjiu, Suomi, and perhaps Sharkry for support, your team might already be well-equipped. In this case, prioritizing other upcoming units like Vector and Klukay with your resources might be a wiser strategy.
Ultimately, the decision hinges on your current roster and immediate needs. If you lack a strong secondary DPS for challenging boss fights, Makiatto is an excellent choice. However, if your team is already well-rounded with top-tier DPS units, reserving resources for future characters could be more beneficial.
