Marvel Rivals Season 1: A Double-Sized Launch Featuring the Fantastic Four

Get ready for a massive start to Marvel Rivals! Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, boasts double the content of a typical season. This expanded offering is due to the developers' decision to introduce the Fantastic Four as a group, rather than individually.

This supersized season will include:

• Three new maps: The Sanctum Sanctorum (available at launch), Midtown (for Convoy missions), and Central Park (details to be revealed later).
• New game mode: Doom Match, debuting alongside the Sanctum Sanctorum map.
• Two new heroes at launch: Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist).
• Two more heroes in the mid-season update (approximately 6-7 weeks after launch): The Thing and Human Torch.

The developers, NetEase Games, have confirmed that Season 1’s expanded content doesn't necessarily alter their plans for future seasons. They anticipate maintaining the addition of two heroes or villains per subsequent season.

While the absence of Blade in this initial season has disappointed some fans, the sheer volume of new content, including the highly anticipated Fantastic Four, promises an exciting start to Marvel Rivals.
