Marvel Rivals Season 1: Hero Data Reveals Top Picks and Win Rates Before Fantastic Four Arrival
NetEase has released compelling statistics highlighting the most popular and successful Marvel Rivals heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals player preferences and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console, offering a snapshot of the meta before the arrival of the Fantastic Four in Season 1, launching January 10th.
Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme as the most frequently chosen hero in Quickplay across both platforms. However, Mantis surprisingly boasts the highest overall win rate, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The "Hero Hot List" also identifies top picks in Competitive modes: Cloak & Dagger for console players and Luna Snow for PC players.
Here's a breakdown of the most picked heroes:
Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay, 0.69% in Competitive), reflecting player dissatisfaction with her current performance. Fortunately, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially revitalizing her popularity. The introduction of the Fantastic Four, starting with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at launch, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing mid-season, is expected to significantly shake up the meta. The upcoming balance changes and new characters promise exciting changes to the game's competitive landscape.
