NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase officially announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game will be permanently shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operating.

For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's acclaimed 4v1 horror-survival title. Originally released on PC in June 2016, the mobile version arrived in April 2020. The game offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:

The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, meaning new downloads will no longer be possible after that date. Existing players can continue playing until the final shutdown on March 20th.

NetEase will process refunds according to regional regulations. Further details regarding the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.

Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A special Welcome Package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted to players based on their in-game spending and XP progress on the mobile platform.

Before the servers go offline, download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store and experience the chilling gameplay for yourself. Also, be sure to check out our coverage of Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game available on Android.
