New Season resets your rank and offers bountiful goodies
Grab Dual Destiny bonuses
Rank-up encounters with specific Pokemon
Pitting magical creatures against each other in adrenaline-pumping combat never seems to get old, not when Pokemon battles are always evolving (much like the Pokemon themselves). In Pokemon Go, particularly, you can try your hand at the new Dual Destiny update beginning December 3rd, and see where you stand against the other contenders within the GO Battle League.
In the Pokemon Go Dual Destiny update, you can score End-of-Season rewards depending on your performance, with your GO Battle League rank to be reset at the beginning. The GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny bonuses include 4× Stardust when you win, along with free battle-themed Timed Research among other goodies.
Additionally, any Pokémon that you encounter through GO Battle League rewards will offer better Attack, Defense, and HP, with Rank-Up encounters (that may or may not be shiny!) depending on how far you go up the charts.
By the way, if you're a fan of the Pokémon Black and Pokémon White series, you'll be pleased to know that you can obtain cosmetics inspired by Grimsley from the Unova Elite Four. These avatar items include shoes, pants, a top, and a pose at Ace rank, Veteran rank, Expert rank, and Legend rank respectively. You can learn more details on the official blog post, or check out our list of Pokémon Go promo codes!
Meanwhile, if you're keen to participate, you can do so by checking it out on the App Store and on Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.
