Pokemon Go Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres Dynamax Forms Will Be Available One Week at a Time

Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! From January 20th to February 3rd, the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres return in their powerful Dynamax forms. This exciting event offers a fantastic opportunity to add these powerful Pokémon to your collection and earn some incredible rewards.

Dynamax Legendary Birds: A Three-Week Soaring Spectacle

The Iconic Trio: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres

Prepare for epic five-star Max Raids! Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will appear in their Dynamax forms at Power Spots, offering challenging battles and the chance to catch these colossal Pokémon. Each legendary bird will have its week in the spotlight:

• Dynamax Articuno: January 20th
• Dynamax Zapdos: January 27th
• Dynamax Moltres: February 3rd

Each bird will remain available for a full week after its initial debut.

To aid in your legendary bird hunts, a special "Legendary Flight Timed Research" event will run concurrently. This research offers encounters with Pokémon, including boosted Shiny rates, alongside valuable Candy and Max Particles to power up your catches. Here's the schedule (in your local time):

• Dynamax Articuno Research: January 17th, 10:00 AM – January 20th, 7:00 PM (featuring Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny)
• Dynamax Zapdos Research: January 24th, 10:00 AM – January 27th, 7:00 PM (featuring Drilbur, Cryogonal, and Grookey)
• Dynamax Moltres Research: January 31st, 10:00 AM – February 3rd, 7:00 PM (featuring Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble)

A Second Chance at the Mythical Victini!

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova is also bringing exciting news! While the in-person event is limited, players worldwide can upgrade their free Tour Pass to a Tour Pass Deluxe or Tour Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks for enhanced rewards and faster progression.

Starting February 24th, 2025, at 10:00 AM, all players will receive a free Tour Pass. Collect Tour Points and rank up to earn additional rewards until the event concludes on March 2nd, 2025, at 6:00 PM (local time).

Upgrading to Tour Pass Deluxe grants immediate access to the Mythical Pokémon Victini and the new Lucky Trinket. This item allows you to become Lucky Friends with another player, enabling a trade for a Lucky Pokémon (boosted stats and reduced power-up costs). The Lucky Friends status resets after the trade. Tour Pass Deluxe is available for $14.99 USD, and Tour Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks is $19.99 USD. Remember to claim your rewards before they expire on March 9th, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
