Pokémon Vending Machines: A Guide for Trainers
Pokémon fans are buzzing about the appearance of Pokémon vending machines across the US! These aren't your average snack dispensers; they offer a curated selection of Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) products. This guide answers your burning questions.
What are Pokémon Vending Machines?
These automated machines provide a convenient way to purchase Pokémon TCG merchandise. While not as budget-friendly as a soda, they offer a fun and accessible shopping experience. The current US models, initially tested in Washington in 2017, feature touchscreen interfaces, showcasing available items with charming Pokémon animations. Payment is via credit card, and a digital receipt is emailed to the customer. Note: returns are not accepted.
What do they sell?
Primarily, these machines stock Pokémon TCG products: booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, and other related items. While some earlier machines in Washington State offered a broader range of merchandise, the current trend is towards a more focused selection of TCG products. Don't expect plushies or video games here.
