Devolver Digital has an amazing lineup of games on Android. GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, Reigns: Game of Thrones and the list goes on. What’s exciting is that another amazing game is going to join that list soon. It’s Carrion for mobile, the ‘reverse-horror’ game.Originally launched for PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique twist on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, Carrion is launching on mobile on October 31st.What’s the Concept of Carrion Mobile? In the game, you slip into the shoes of a creature straight out of a dark nightmare. Here, you are the horror. Carrion, gives you the reins, or rather the tentacles, of a mysterious red blob that slithers, claws and chomps its way through anything that crosses its path. It’s been called a reverse horror game because, rather than trying to survive the terror, you are the terror. As this amorphous creature, The Monster, you’re contained in a super-secure research lab owned by Relith Science.Scientists have poked, prodded and dissected parts of your DNA to keep you under control. But they didn’t count on you breaking out, evolving and coming back with a vengeance. Now, you need to escape the facility by any means necessary. As The Monster, you consume every scientist, security guard and unfortunate soul that dares to stand in your way. You crawl through vents, smash down doors and fling your tentacles around to hunt. Carrion mobile, just like its PC version, lets you spread a wave of panic and destruction. As you slither through each room, you’ll unlock upgrades to burst through barricades and an eerie ability to grow in size. Why don’t you catch a glimpse of the game right here?
