Reviver: Butterfly, the charming narrative game, finally flutters onto iOS and Android! Initially slated for a winter 2024 release, it's arriving slightly later than expected, launching on January 17th.
For those who recall our October coverage, Reviver is a unique experience where you, a tiny force of nature, subtly influence the lives of two lovers, guiding them towards a shared destiny. You never directly interact with them, yet you witness their journey from youth to old age.
The game will be available in two versions: Reviver: Butterfly (iOS and Android) and Reviver: Premium (also iOS and Android), seemingly identical releases. While "wholesome" is subjective, Reviver's intriguing premise and heartwarming story make it a compelling choice.
A Name Change and a Mobile Debut
The mobile release of Reviver encountered a common indie game hurdle: name conflicts. This slight delay, however, is more than compensated for by the game's arrival. The iOS page reveals a free prologue, allowing potential players to sample the gameplay before committing. Excitingly, the mobile release even precedes the Steam launch!
