Sgt. Winter Returns in Fortnite Winterfest

Mariah Carey has arrived in Fortnite, launching the 2024 Winterfest event! Complete the Wintervestigation Quests by finding SGT. Winter. Here's how:

SGT. Winter's Location in Fortnite Chapter 6

The initial Wintervestigation Quest directs you to SGT. Winter. These Quests involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and locate new NPCs across the Chapter 6 map.

The Quest marker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location—a snowy mountaintop near a plane crash site, east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game concert location.

Talking to SGT. Winter

SGT. Winter patrols near the plane wreckage. He's marked with a speech bubble icon. Interact with him to access options: purchase items (Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Blizzard Grenade), or initiate dialogue.

Select the magnifying glass icon to begin the Wintervestigation dialogue. He'll assign a new mission, sending you to Noir in Seaport City. Upon completing the conversation, you'll receive 25,000 XP.

Surviving and Looting at SGT. Winter's Location

Reaching SGT. Winter can be challenging due to the area's popularity. Consider waiting a few days for the crowds to thin. Alternatively, arrive early, secure nearby chests within the plane wreckage for cover, and use the debris to your advantage. Many players might land without weapons, making it easier to eliminate opponents.
