Shadow of the Depth is an upcoming game by ChillyRoom that’s now in open beta on Android. There will be no data wipe, so that’s probably good news for some of you. You can try the game out, let the devs know your feedback and still keep your hard-earned progress even when the game officially launches.ChillyRoom has previously published successful titles like Soul Knight and Meow Hunter. This new game is tentatively set to drop in December 2024. As of now, the open beta of Shadow of the Depth is available only in a few select regions.Where Is Shadow of the Depth Open Beta Live?If you’re in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, UK, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand or the Philippines, you can get your hands on the game. You can grab this beta for free. For the rest of the regions, the game will probably launch with its full version later this year.ChillyRoom is giving out some goodies for anyone logging in during the open beta of Shadow of the Depth. You can grab yourself a total of 200 diamonds as a little thank you for testing. But that’s only until December 5th, so make sure you try the game out before then.So, What’s The Game About?It’s a classic action roguelike with a medieval twist. You step into a village that’s been torched by monsters. So, Arthur, the blacksmith’s son, is on a mission for revenge. There are swordsmen, hunters and mages who join him in the monster-infested abyss.You’ll be slashing through enemies, dodging traps in randomized dungeons and facing tough bosses. With over 140 passives and a talent system, there’s a ton of ways to customise how you play.
