Squid Game: Unleashed set to receive new characters and events to celebrate season two of the show

Netflix's surprise holiday release of Squid Game: Unleashed, a free-to-play battle royale game, was a bold move. Now, they're cleverly incentivizing both subscribers and non-subscribers with rewards tied to watching season two.

For existing players, the January 3rd update introduces a map inspired by the Mingle mini-game from Squid Game season two. New playable characters—Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik, and rapper Thanos—will also debut throughout January.

Geum-Ja and Thanos will each have special in-game events on January 3rd and 9th respectively, allowing players to unlock them. Watching episodes of season two unlocks in-game Cash and Wild Tokens. Watching seven episodes unlocks the exclusive Binni Binge-Watcher outfit!
