Aspyr's upcoming release of Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles for modern consoles features a surprising playable character: Jar Jar Binks. A new trailer showcases Binks wielding a staff in action-packed gameplay.
This isn't the only addition to the original 2000 release. Aspyr is significantly expanding the roster of playable characters, with ten new additions revealed so far, including Jar Jar Binks. The updated game also boasts customizable lightsaber colors and cheat code support.
The newly unveiled characters add diversity to the lineup, featuring familiar faces like the Staff Tusken Raider and Rodian, alongside various droid types (Flame Droid, Destroyer Droid, Rifle Droid). Even more characters are expected to be announced before the January 23rd launch. Pre-orders are now open.
