Stellar Blade's Festive Holiday Update: A Cozy Christmas in Xion

Get ready for a holly jolly update in Stellar Blade, arriving December 17th! This festive event brings Christmas cheer to Xion with new outfits, decorations, and a mini-game.

New Holiday Attire and Accessories:

Deck the halls (and Eve) with boughs of holly! New Christmas-themed costumes are available for Eve, Adam, and the Drone:

• Santa Dress (Eve)
• Rudolph Pack (Drone)
• I'm No Santa (Adam)

Eve's festive look can be further customized with a Santa Girl hairstyle and accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.

A Festive Xion and a New Mini-Game:

Xion itself gets a holiday makeover, adorned with warm lights and festive decorations. The Last Gulp and Eve's camp join in the celebration, complete with seasonal BGM ("Dawn (Winter)" and "Take me away"). A new mini-game adds to the fun; while details are scarce, shooting targets on a holiday drone promises special rewards.

Control Your Festive Fun:

The update introduces a toggle to enable or disable seasonal content, including the Nier:Automata DLC. Find this setting under Gameplay in the game's options menu. Choose from:

• Auto: Seasonal content automatically activates or deactivates based on the season.
• Disable: Deactivate all seasonal content.
• Enable: Activate all seasonal content.

Note: Changing this setting requires a restart from your most recent save.

Mixed Reception:

While the announcement was largely well-received, with many fans embracing the "Christmas Eve" moniker for the protagonist, some players expressed concerns about the frequency of event updates in a single-player game with a relatively short playtime (around 30 hours). The need to restart the game to fully enjoy the seasonal content is a point of contention for some.
