Thrones Kingsroad Beta Now Live

Netmarble's upcoming Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is launching a regional closed beta test soon, offering a sneak peek at its gameplay and mechanics via a new trailer.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Regional Closed Beta Dates:

The closed beta test (CBT) runs from January 16th to January 22nd, 2025, for players in the U.S., Canada, and select European regions. The test will be available on Windows and Android.

Registration closes on January 12th, 2025, so register quickly to participate.

More About the Game:

Set during the show's fourth season, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad plunges players into the heart of Westeros' political turmoil. Following the death of King Robert Baratheon, the Lannisters cling to power, while Stannis Baratheon prepares for war. The North still reels from the Red Wedding, and the Great Houses continue their scheming.

Players assume the role of an heir to House Tyre, a minor Northern house. A robust character creator allows for customization, followed by the selection of one of three classes inspired by the series: Assassin, Knight, or Sellsword. Combat emphasizes player-versus-player (PvP) battles with fully manual controls.

The game also features original characters inspired by the Wildlings, Dothraki, and the Faceless Men. The game promises the same gritty atmosphere, drama, betrayal, and epic scale that defined the HBO series.
