If you're diving into *Arise Crossover* and feeling a bit lost amidst the Shadow units and dungeon challenges, don't worry—this guide is here to help you navigate your way to becoming a top player. Whether you're stuck on which Shadows to use or unsure about how to level up, we've got you covered.

How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In Arise Crossover, you'll encounter three islands, each boasting multiple recruitable Shadows and a formidable dungeon Shadow. The weakest Shadow you'll meet is Soondoo, available right from the start, while the powerhouse Mifalcon awaits on Brum Island. But remember, it's not just about the type of Shadow; rank is key. A Rank A Soondoo can outshine a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked Shadows can reach higher levels, with Rank D units maxing out at Level 75 and SS units reaching up to Level 200. Your ultimate goal? A squad of four SS Mifalcons, though getting there is half the fun.

Dungeon Portals in Arise Crossover pop up every 30 minutes and stick around for 15 minutes. Even if you jump in just before it vanishes, you'll still complete the dungeon. These portals can appear at various spots on each island with varying difficulty ranks. Start with a team of Rank D units and tackle a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island to build a solid squad and possibly snag a rare boss Shadow. Dungeons are your ticket to recruiting not just rare but also higher-ranked common units.

When a portal message flashes, go for it. Even with a weaker team, hang around the portal and you might find a kind soul willing to carry you through. Many players can solo these dungeons and don't mind helping others level up. This community spirit is crucial for progressing in Arise Crossover. We've been boosted through a Rank A dungeon with just Rank C units, and later, we returned the favor by helping others through Rank S dungeons.

Arise Crossover Weapons

During this Beta phase, weapons in Arise Crossover are largely ineffective. Sure, they might help a bit at the start, but by the time you reach the second island, their impact is negligible. The Iron Kando Blade, the strongest common weapon available, costs a whopping 60 million and only deals 516.1K damage. Compare that to your units dealing 200 to 400 million damage, and it's clear: save your money until weapon updates roll out.

How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, and only one player can claim each mount. A server-wide message alerts you when a new mount appears, but there's no notification if someone else claims it or if it despawns. Mounts can appear in six locations: on islands behind the main ones or on smaller islands between them. Check the developer's map for exact spots.

You can't claim the same mount twice, and there's a chance you might fail to capture one. Flying mounts are the rarest, with only a 10% chance to spawn, while ground mounts are more common, and water mounts are available for purchase at the Boat Shop NPC. To get a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and race to the spawn points. While mounts aren't essential for progression, a flying mount can certainly make traveling a breeze.

That's the gist of getting started in *Arise Crossover*. We'll keep this beginner's guide updated as the game evolves. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the *Arise Crossover* codes for some nifty freebies.
