Version 3.1 Update: Honkai Star Rail Unveils 'Gate's Unlocking, Shadows Rise'

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, escalating the Flame-Chase Journey with new challenges and mysteries.

New 5-Star Characters Join the Fray

Version 3.1 introduces two formidable 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the securing of Nikador's Coreflame, players explore the new Grove of Epiphany map, rescuing survivors and unraveling the catastrophe's origins. The quest continues with the recovery of Cerces' Coreflame to restore hope to Okhema.

The update delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State. This exploration unearths the Era Chrysea's long-lost history and Tribbie's past. Tribbie (Tribios), the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, is a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, tasked with spreading a prophecy of Deliverance.

Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. His combat style involves sacrificing HP to power up, entering an enhanced state with automatic enemy attacks during his turns.

Returning Characters and Events

Limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo return in Version 3.1's warp event, appearing in the first and second halves respectively.

The Divergent Universe event returns with a research focus on Amphoreus and a new Day/Night battle system. Combat dynamics shift based on the time of day, triggering unique buffs and effects.

The "Awooo Firm" event casts players as managers assisting Okhema's chimera squad.
