Xbox Game Pass January 2025: New Games and Departures

Microsoft has revealed its first wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles. Several games are joining the service in early January, while others are leaving. This update follows recent announcements regarding changes to the Game Pass service, including updated age restrictions and reward systems.

New Games Arriving in January 2025:

Seven new games are coming to Xbox Game Pass, starting with Road 96 on January 7th, available across all tiers (including PC Game Pass). This follows its previous appearance on the service. The remaining six titles arrive later in the month: Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills on January 8th; and UFC 5 and Diablo on January 14th. Note that Diablo is exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate-only title. The other new additions are available with a standard subscription.

Game Pass Ultimate Perks:

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched January 7th, including a weapon charm for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:

Microsoft has also confirmed the departure of six titles on January 15th: Common'hood, Escape Academy, Exoprimal, Figment, Insurgency Sandstorm, and Those Who Remain.
