Phase 10 Rules:

A phase is a combination of cards, typically sets (multiple cards of the same rank), runs (consecutive cards of the same suit), cards of a single color, or a mix thereof. The game consists of ten phases:

The game begins by dealing ten cards face down to each player. Players keep their cards hidden from opponents.

Phase Completion:

• Phases must be completed sequentially, from 1 to 10.
• A complete phase must be in hand before being laid down.
• Players may lay down more cards than the minimum requirement, provided they directly extend an existing phase.
• Only one phase can be laid down per turn.
• Successful phase completion allows progression to the next phase. Failure results in attempting the same phase again in the next turn.
• Credit for completing a phase is awarded immediately upon laying it down, regardless of winning the round.

Players are not obligated to lay down a completed phase if they possess it. However, a card must still be discarded at the end of their turn.

Ending the Round & Scoring:

After completing and laying down a phase, players must attempt to play out their remaining cards. Remember: draw one card at the beginning of your turn and discard one at the end.

Once a player plays their last card, the round ends. Players total the value of their remaining cards:

• 5 points for cards 1-9
• 10 points for cards 10-12
• 15 points for a Skip card
• 25 points for a Wild card

The lowest total score wins the round.

Winning the Game:

If a single player completes Phase 10 and discards their remaining cards, they win immediately. If multiple players complete phases simultaneously, the player with the lowest total score after completing Phase 10 wins. Ties result in a replay of Phase 10, with the first player to complete it and discard all cards declared the victor.
