Ultimate Texas Holdem (UTH) is a thrilling casino poker game that pits you directly against the dealer, much like the classic game of Blackjack. It's a popular choice at casino tables, offering a straightforward yet strategic gameplay experience. The payouts in UTH are based on the strength of your hand, with superior hands yielding higher rewards. The game supports offline play, allowing you to practice your strategy with features like repeat bets, including the Trips bet, and a streamlined, quick-play mode. Running low on chips? You can spin The Wheel* to earn bonus chips, though this feature requires an internet connection.
UTH is played with a standard 52-card deck. To start, you place equal bets on Ante and Blind, with an optional Trips bet that pays out on specific hands. The dealer then deals two cards to you and two to themselves, with you being able to view your cards. You have the option to check or make a Play bet, which can be three or four times your Ante bet. Next, the dealer reveals three community cards. If you checked initially, you can now make a Play bet double your Ante or check again. If you've already bet, you do nothing at this stage.
The dealer then turns over the final two community cards. If you've checked twice, you must either make a Play bet equal to your Ante or fold, losing both your Ante and Blind bets if you choose the latter. Both you and the dealer aim to create the best possible five-card hand using a combination of your hole cards and the community cards. The dealer needs at least a pair to qualify. If the dealer qualifies and you win, your Ante, Blind, and Play bets are paid out according to UTH rules. If the dealer doesn't qualify, your Ante bet is returned. Should the dealer win, you lose all bets except for the Trips bet. In the event of a tie, all bets are returned to you.
