What is Moonlight Sword Breaker?

Moonlight Sword Breaker is a school romantic comedy visual novel featuring five heroines and exciting romantic developments. Set in a modern world where swords, machines, and ponytails coexist, it's the first in the Moonlight series, following the journey of the cool and stoic Shido Minato.

Story

The story takes place in the present day, dominated by Imperial Heavy Industries and its monopolization of Automata, automated machine dolls used in both industry and homes. High school student Kawashima Uto, attending Holy Emperor Academy, becomes entangled in a runaway Automata incident and is saved by the third-generation Automata, Kakuri-in Nova. Taken to Nova's hideout, Uto is tasked with a critical mission: capture five school idols to defeat Mugen Tsukuyomi, aided by Nova and Kageyama. Their first target: the seemingly perfect, yet enigmatic student council president, Shido Minato.
