First announced in 2018, the series boasts an eight-episode first season and a stellar production team. Castlevania's Adi Shankar serves as producer, while Studio Mir (renowned for The Legend of Korra and X-Men '97) handles animation.
Plot specifics remain shrouded in mystery, but indications suggest the series will focus on Dante, as depicted in the first three Devil May Cry games, rather than his Devil May Cry 5 iteration. Interestingly, Johnny Yong Bosch, the voice of Nero in the games, will lend his talents to the role of Dante.
The most recent entry in the Devil May Cry franchise, Devil May Cry 5 (2019), marked a triumphant return to form after a period of relative inactivity following 2013's DmC: Devil May Cry. A standout action title, it's highly recommended, especially for fans of games like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our comprehensive Devil May Cry 5 review for more details.
